what do we wear?
When you book your session, we will make sure to talk with you about your session and go over the best style and types of clothing that photograph the best. We will also send over s style guide and Pintrest board with clothing recommendations to help you. We love to help our clients as much or as little as they want, so if you are needing any extra help at any time please let us know. We can also personally assist you and go "shopping" for you, sending you links and styles that photograph the best and go together. We recommend once clothing selections are made for our clients to email us quick phone pictures, to get an idea of your style and plan your session.
HOW LONG IS OUR PHOTO SESSION?
Newborn sessions on average table about 2-3 hours depending on the baby. Our newborn sessions are geared around the baby allowing them to eat frequently so they don't get hungry or feel rushed. We do not book back to back so that our clients don't feel rushed if your little one decides to be extra hungry that day. Custom family/children sessions take about an hour to an hour and half depending on clothing changes and the variety of backgrounds used. Sessions where we go both indoor and outdoors may take a little more time. Mini sessions are 2o minutes long so they are limited with only one background, limited poses and clothing changes.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
True Expressions is located in the Northwest side of Houston between Houston and The Woodlands in Tomball, Texas. Our studio is located right in Downtown Tomball, so we have lots of areas at the studio and right around us that are perfect for pictures.
HOW LARGE IS YOUR STUDIO?
Our 2000 sq. ft. indoor studio is located in a 1936 house that has been converted into a commercial building. Keeping its 1936 charm with the original wood floors, we have multiple rooms with different backgrounds and areas to photograph as well as a dressing and changing room and design room where you can see all of our different products we offer. Outdoors we have a gorgeous oak tree lined piece of property with a large open field area, cedar fence, tree swing, tire swing, white barn doors and of course our favorite...our 1955 blue Chevy truck.
DO YOU RENT YOUR STUDIO TO OUTSIDE BUSINESSES?
We do! We have certain days and times that we have open to rent out our studio to other photographers or businesses. The indoor & outdoor photography studio is available for $75/hour on weekdays & $100/hour on weekends (two hour minimum). Our makeup room/ordering room is $50/hour (one hour minimum).
